Summer Trips 2022 - part VIII

S2 had a fabulous summer trip today. We started off with a private cinema screening of Sonic 2 and we had the whole screen to ourselves at Blackburn Vue Cinema.

We had popcorn and fruit shoots to enjoy whilst watching the film.

Then we went to Nandos for some lunch before having a game of bowling.

It was first time experiences for some of us but we all loved it and had a great time together.

Don’t forget that S2 had worked hard in enterprise all year to earn the money to pay for the trip themselves, so it felt even better knowing that it had been hard earned!

Muhammad said “this is my best day ever!” And when asked what was your favourite part of today, Arsalaan replied “all of it!”

Think it’s safe to say they enjoyed themselves - what a brilliant day out in Blackburn!

Meanwhile, going a bit further afield, Class 6 visited Smithill’s Farm in Bolton on Monday.

It was very hot! However the children enjoyed seeing the animals and feeding some and even had a go at feeding milk to some very hungry lambs!

They enjoyed ice cream and saw the cows being milked to get the milk to make ice cream!
