Summer Trips 2022 - part VI

On Thursday some of the classes from Autism and SEND enjoyed an end of year trip to Z-arts in Manchester to join in an immersive fairy tale exhibition as part of our topic on fairy-tales and traditional tales.

They found Jack’s beanstalk, went into ‘Grandma’s’ house and found the big bad wolf, went to the 3 little pig’s building company and so much more.

Everyone had a wonderful day and enjoyed exploring the exhibition before having lunch there and driving back to school.

Staff are very proud of how well everyone coped with visiting somewhere new. It was also lovely to visit as a larger group and have the opportunity to learn and play with other peers from across school.

Thanks to all the staff for supporting this big trip with a lot of our youngest children, and especially to teacher Sarah for organising and planning the lovely day out.
