Summer Enterprise

S2 have continued to enjoy enterprise sessions this half term and have been thinking about ways to make money in summer.

A few weeks ago they held a sampling survey, earlier in the week they made posters and put them up around school to drum up trade, and l today they held their pop up ice cream stall.

They have also been busy making and decorating planters, and potting up plants in them to sell.

At their stall today they sold the ice creams, planters and bookmarks.

Staff paid £1 and children 50p to buy their homemade lemon curd or mint choc chip flavour ice creams, and the class were very excited to see teacher Shannon and baby Ava who came to visit and to try their ice cream!.

The ice cream was a hit and in total, after deductions for materials etc S2 have made around £120 by selling their planters and ice cream.

They are going to use the money for end of year treats such as a Nando’s on their summer trip and dominos pizza and film day in the last week, so they are very grateful for everyone’s support!

Hope you enjoyed the purchases!
