Everyone has been trying to make the most of the sunshine, now that Summer has finally arrived.
We don’t know how long it will last… so children have been enjoying time learning outside.
This afternoon, secondary pupils in SEND had their usual Friday afternoon assembly.. but in the lovely sunshine.
Afterwards… wait for it… They had a playground water fight!
Some of the children brought their own water toys in from home and they filled up super soakers and water balloons to enjoy in the hot weather.
It was all in good fun and there were lots of smiles, squeals and chasing with friends.
It cooled them all down, ready for a chilled weekend and to finish off a hard week of learning and playing, they all enjoyed ice lollies.
