We come to the end of another term, and today, we have been thinking about the crisis in Ukraine.
Children have made flags to put in windows and around school to show our support.
We are also dressing in the Ukraine flag colours of blue and yellow (or white for peace) and paying £1 to raise some money to send to help the people in Ukraine.
One of our staff, Julie, has made some blue and yellow ribbon badges to sell for a donation, the mum of nurse Cate has been knitting blue and yellow teddies, and our senior EHCA Chloe has made some of her delicious cakes - all to raise a bit of money to help the people suffering as a result of the conflict.
Our older students held an easter egg tombola at the Easter assemblies yesterday again to raise money, so the whole Newfield Family is really trying to play their part to support people in need.
We raised over £277 pounds today which is a huge achievement and will support lots of people.
We wish everyone a very happy Easter break and hope that peace can come to Ukraine very soon.
Thanks as always for your support and we look forward to seeing you in school for a sunny summer term!
