Pancake Day!

Happy St David’s Day and Happy Shrove Tuesday - otherwise known as Pancake Day!

Pupils in A9 had fun topping pancakes this week. They used choice boards and had lots of toppings to choose from including syrup, chocolate chips, chocolate spread, lemon juice and banana. All the pupils loved trying different flavours and discovering their favourite!

Some of our younger children played with flour and had a turn at tossing pancakes then tasted them with different toppings.

Lots of classes have been using a huge range of skills - breaking eggs, whisking, frying, tossing, shopping, pouring, choosing toppings, spreading and then… eating yummy pancakes today!

Here is a selection of our clever children making and enjoying them.

Happy Pancake Day - we hope you get to enjoy some!
