Interactive Adventures

This week TG2 have been on an adventure with Frozen Light Theatre Company’s interactive movie, The Nest. The students have travelled into the future of 2065 and played rebels to the state.

We used blue light torches to find secret messages in invisible ink and we hid from the government helicopters under blankets and tables to avoid detection.

We’ve sung songs and explored books with photo puzzles of our classmates to remind us of belonging.

We played on our pots and pans to music which was banned in the future 2065.

The students have enjoyed the interactive qualities of this story and we’ve laughed lots in this project.

In S1 Children have been thinking about their bodies and other animals bodies and Zobi drew a fab picture of a green dinosaur all by himself!

Over in the local library, pupils have been having their own interactive adventures with books! Rayyaan did really well in the library using his walker so that he could have a wander and choose his books.

Suha was very polite when she made a request to the librarian. She had been reading a book she enjoyed and wanted to read others in the series, so she went to ask if they were in the library - they weren’t but the librarian has ordered them for Suha.

Fantastic communication skills, physical skills and creative skills from our brilliant children!
