As part of our RRSA steering group we support the LOVE for KENYA charity. Last week we had the bag2school event, raising £64 for them, and back in the Autumn we held an harvest festival and also did a Tombola stall at our Christmas fair to also boost their funds.
We raise money so that they can buy new text books or seeds. We still have other things planned for this year, but on Wednesday we presented a cheque for £123 to Julia Dyer who is part of St James church who support Kenya.
Julie said ‘Thank you so much for the cheque today and please thank everyone at school for raising this money. It may be hard for people to imagine what a difference this will make. I’ve sent the photo to Fred and Gilbert in Kenya and will send you back their response’.
