Staff Training - First Aid 2022

Today some of our staff took part in an intensive day of face to face training to ensure that they can deal with any issues requiring emergency first aid for our pupils.

They had already completed a day of online theory training, and today had to practise, demonstrate and pass a test to prove that they can safely and effectively support and manage injuries!

The photos seem to involve a lot of bandages(!) but the staff were learning about resuscitation, managing breaks and cuts, seizures and many more essential lifesaving skills

It was a gruelling course delivered by St John’s Ambulance staff, but we are happy to say that everyone successfully passed the course.

It is really important to us to be able to keep all of the children safe and well in school.
