Autism Circus

This afternoon our talented children and staff in the key stage 2 and 3 classes in the School for Autism came together to put on a fabulous circus performance to end our ‘On the Stage’ topic.

Each class prepared their own performance over the half term; with ribbon dancing, acrobatics, circus skills and animal performances taking place, as well as some very cheeky and messy clowns!

Our pupils based at the provision at Shadsworth Infants came along and performed for their mates in the Autism school and the children enjoyed popcorn and juice during the interval.

Classes all over school were able to enjoy the show virtually and it was as fantastic over the air as it was in person!

Everyone involved had a great time and it was great to see and share all their hard work from the half term.
