After a gap last year we are delighted today to have been able to hold our event of the year - the annual Christmas Fair!
We have done our best to make it covid secure, by asking everyone to lateral flow, wear a mask and come in stages… but it hasn’t stopped any of the fun and sparkle.
Lots of families came to buy the items that children have been busy making.
We had stalls selling sweets, chocolates, Christmas gifts, candles, light up bottles, decorations, reindeers, a teddy tombola, a raffle, a cheese pie stall, a tombola… and lots more.
We had the fabulous brass band Corus Brass raising everyone’s spirits and of course, we had Santa’s Grotto and a visit from Father Christmas.
It was busy and a real celebration and a fantastic chance to meet parents, babies, grand parents and brothers and sister; as well as friends of Newfield, and see people face to face - albeit behind a mask!
Everyone had a great time and it has really put everyone in a Christmassy mood!
