Takeover Week 2021 - part 3

We have had a great time this week with pupils taking over adult roles. Everyone involved has worked hard, had fun and enjoyed experiencing the world of work.

Angel helped Shakila deliver cleaning resources to all the classes in school. Shakila said Angel was very helpful. Angel said she enjoyed it but it was hard work!

Hannah went to C3 for take over week to try teaching. Hannah sat at the front of the class to begin with and went through the PowerPoint of songs. Hannah then played with musical instruments with the children, and assisting to hold them. Hannah helped get items ready for snack time. Hannah also worked with the children with sensory items. It was a pleasure having Hannah in class with us, and she also said she really enjoyed it.

Some of our older students in Autism worked with etc site team, litter picking, setting up the halls for lunchtime and emptying the recycling bins.

Thanks to all the staff and pupils for making this a great success.
