EYFS Stay & Play

This week we have had our first stay and play sessions for our youngest children in the SEND school, where parents, siblings and other family members have been able to join in the class and spending time with their children, learning what they get up to all day here!

On Wednesday, Class 3 enjoyed a wonderful stay and play session. It was lovely to see how happy the children were to have their parents in class. We had lots of sensory fun, followed by a story and then ended with the parachute - which Archie’s baby brother loved too!

On Thursday Class 2 had lots of mummies, daddies and baby siblings join them for play and exploration and they all had a great time.

Finally on Friday, Class 1 had parents join them for some water play, sand play and story time.

It was absolutely fantastic for us to have parents in school and for our families to see what our youngest children are working on and achieving here in our EYFS provision.

We are going to make these a regular thing at Newfield and are looking forward to doing it all again next term.

Me and Noah had fun yesterday, it was so good to see how settled and happy Archie is so thankyou :)
