Autism Training - Developing Social Skills through stories

Today was the second of our new training courses which focused on how approaches such as social stories can be used to help support pupils in different situations.

Hayley Bennett one of our experienced autism teachers led the course to nine delegates from mainstream settings across Blackburn with Darwen.

Once again the feedback was excellent! Well done Hayley!

Very knowledgeable trainer… the training was really useful.

Mainstream Teacher

I didn’t know anything about social stories beforehand. The general format and examples have given me a good introduction to return to school and give it a go.
