Wild One Adventures

For our end of theme WOW event in the school for SEND, children have been enjoying a Wild One Adventure in the great outdoors. The theme has been ‘In the garden’ and yesterday and today we have had a teepee, firepit and lots of excitement to end the half term.

Wild One Adventures set a tepee up and a big shelter with fire pit in the sensory garden and we had a great time.

Pupils took part in lots of outdoor learning activities, bow and arrow making, bushcraft activities, fire cooking, scarecrow making and lots more.

Everyone had been warned to wrap up warm and bring wellies - and they certainly needed them with the rain and freezing temperatures.

The weather was awful yesterday, but everyone enjoyed listening to the torrential rain whilst being cosy in the tepee and under the big tarpaulin. Today was a total contrast with glorious sunny, cold weather.

What an amazing few days we have had!

Thank you to Louise from Wild One Adventures.
