Getting Back to Normal!

We are having a brilliant time both in school and out, getting back ti being able to do some of the things that we haven’t been able to do for a very long time.

The hydro pool is proving as popular as ever, with some of our children from the school for Autism also enjoying there sessions plashing around and developing their skills this week.

Over in the school for SEND, we’ve been able to have one of our first trips out into the community with a visit to… wait for it… the supermarket! Who knew that it would feel so exciting?!

TG1 had a very successful trip to Tesco. Everyone bought everything on their shopping lists and the group bumped into one of their mums doing the family shop.

They couldn’t find the garlic so one of the students asked a Tesco employee where it was (very politely) and they were able to track it own. They plan to use it to make pommel dauphinoise for European Day of Language later this week! It was great hunting around the store and practising using the self checkout.

We love getting out and about - so look out for us when you are around Blackburn and if you se us, come and say hello.
