Today we joined the nation by putting on our jeans, denim shirts - anything denim in fact, and paid £1 to raise money for this charity for children with genetic illnesses which is very close to our hearts here at Newfield - Jeans for Genes.
Everyone enjoyed dressing up or down and we also had an art competition to design a pair of jeans.
The winners won some chocolate and a certificate, with our new Family Wellbeing Coordinator Mathilde and new pupil Libah judging the competition from the posters on display in our hall.
