I have written about this in a previous post, but thought it was worth drawing attention to it once more. Many shops now offer a period of time where quieter shopping can take place, many turn down or turn off music, lower lights etc. so that the sensory experience is much less overwhelming. Check websites to see if a shop you are going to participate, you may be surprised! One shop that does this is The Entertainer, they have now opted to extend this to a daily hour, every morning when the shop opens.
