Travel & Transport Wow!

This week in the school for SEND we began our new theme for the half term - travel & transport.

On Thursday and Friday everyone was able to take part in our wow events to introduce children to the new theme.

The halls were transformed into a voyage experience with lots of modes of transport for children to use. They used skills to pack a suitcase, enjoy a cocktail on arrival, travel on bikes, trains, buses and boats!

They visited a market with lots of different smells and sensory items related to foreign cultures and were able to dress up for a holiday and go fishing in a pool.

Everyone had a great trip and holiday experience learning skills that will be developed more in classes throughout the next few weeks.

At the end of term we are looking forward to ending the year with a Newfield beach extravaganza.
