End of Half Term Activities - Olympic Fun!

To round off the theme for this half term around sports days, children have been enjoying lots of sporting activities and medals ceremonies.

In C4 they made clay medals and painted them gold. they also made some yummy rice crispy medals and then had a fun sports event and celebrated all being winners.

Our youngest children in the school for SEND enjoyed finishing off the half term and the topic with an old fashioned sports afternoon. They had races and an egg and spoon race. They all had lots of fun.

Congratulations to Mille who has been awarded the Mover of the Week award. She has been practising hard and Millie can now walk independently while pushing the pram!!

Finally, completed unrelated to sports, as an end of half term treat - a favourite activity - our secondary pupils in S2 made slime today using glue, different scents, food colouring, cooking ingredients, glitter and hair products as part of their experiments.

We hope you have a lovely half term break - and if you get bored, don’t forget there are lots of stories, songs and activities on our YouTube channel, where this week we’ve added a story about ‘My Best Pet’ read by teacher Laura.
