This morning A7, 8 and 9 in the School for Autism, worked with the school kitchen to prepare a snack ready for a picnic on the school grounds tomorrow.
Pupils chose their own tasty fillings and prepared their own wrap under supervision from Kerry from our kitchen team, who showed them how to fill and roll their wraps. This gives a valuable learning experience in a real food preparation environment with a trained professional!
All the pupils thoroughly enjoyed the activity and Kerry did a great job of overseeing the operation.
Tomorrow will be the turn of A10, 11, 12 and 13, ready for our picnic as the finale event for our theme of the half term ‘The World Around Me’.
