Summer Activities 2021

We have had a really busy, fun week taking part in lots of activities across both the school for SEND and the school for Autism.

Pupils in S2 have been working on the sport theme and taking part in different, new sports - table tennis is fast becoming a new favourite. In class 3 children haver been developing their social and independence skills in their weekly breakfast club cafe - it looks great with lots of treats and cereals!

In EYFS our youngest children have been exploring and sharing sensory objects and getting to know new friends.

In class 5 they found a giant box and have turned it into a superhero lair - they had lots of fun painting it, decorating it with superhero stickers and have been having a brilliant time playing in it, developing creative skills and enjoying acting out superhero stories.

Some of key stage 2 pupils have been enjoying swimming sessions at Darwen Leisure Centre now that we are finally allowed to take part in such activities and they are having a fantastic time there, swimming and splashing in the water.

Lots more things going on all around school as well as out and about a bit more now that restrictions are lifting - happy Summer everyone!
