More Pottery in the School for Autism

Here are some more pictures, this time of children from the school for Autism at Newfield taking part in pottery workshops with our community potter Alistair. They had a great time watching the wheel spin and some even braved tossing the clay. Everyone had a great time and some of the staff think we should have him back every week!

Today, we had a special visitor in the school for autism. The potter man, Alistair came into school to work with pupils to make some pottery and other objects in clay. They were able to make clay pots using the potters wheel and pressing the lever to make the wheel turn. The pupils were really focused during the session. They have had a lovely time.
