Happy St. George's Day

We’ve had a great first two weeks back, with sunshine, lots of children back with their friends and exciting new curriculum themes to enjoy!

Today, to celebrate St Georges Day today, the children had a proper English, chip shop style fish and chip lunch, served with bread and butter! It’s always a favourite and they all enjoyed it. For pudding they enjoyed another English classic - an afternoon tea style fresh jam and cream scone.

Some classes put up flags and others did silhouette artwork to make flag pictures. Some were able to enjoy activities outside in the beautiful sunshine too, they had fun making jelly bean scented play dough and made it into flags, then explored a giant sensory flag made from white foam and red jelly, lots of messy fun!

Wishing you al a very happy, sunny weekend!
