Learning at Home - Work Packs

Teachers have been busy gathering resources and making work packs to send to our children learning at home.

In the school for Autism, teachers Katrina and Emma have made packs for our youngest children.

In these packs there are three symbols for commenting on the story Monkey Puzzle, some visual instructions and craft materials to make a paper plate face.

These resources will be modelled in their live sessions and then can be used again by parents to repeat activities during the weeks.

They have also included some suggested activities around the topic of ‘Happy Healthy Me’ which parents can do over the week.

The work packs will be posted or delivered to children so that they can join in live sessions, follow sessions on YouTube, or work with parents on activities set by teachers based on their needs.

Please let your teacher know how the home learning is going and send us photos to share with others if you like! Below you can see how one of the children got on making his face - brilliant!

Harley’s struggling with the PECS at home, but he did todays task of the face. He can’t really do the live lessons as he won’t get dressed!
