Staff Wellbeing - Christmas 2020

As you all know, we take the wellbeing of our whole Newfield Family very seriously. Our staff work really hard always to make sure that the children and families are well supported and particularly in these COVID times our staff have been fantastic at supporting the children’s wellbeing… so we really want to make sure that they feel valued and know how much we appreciate their efforts.

For the last few weeks of term, Headteacher Rik has been holding a weekly wheel of fortune - where a lucky staff member wins a small voucher to spend and this has created lots of excitement - we never know who will get the nice surprise!

One of our wellbeing warriors, Sharon, devised a Chocolate Dip - where staff just had to put in their name for a chance to win some sweet treats! The lucky staff members were selected at random by ‘our Marilyn’ and they we all delighted to get their choccies!

Our fantastic catering team have been preparing a small foodie treat each week for staff - a cake, Danish pastry, cheese pie lunch… just something once a week during November and December to spoil our brilliant team - you can see staff socially distancing to collect pie from the hot trolley - and pie is like a Newfield tradition, it was delicious, so everyone was happy!
