As we continue the approach to Christmas, I have been looking to find inclusive Christmas events near school that may be of interest to our families. The first event I have found is ‘Father Christmas’ Reindeer Lodge’ in the Trafford centre. This experience enables children to first meet and interact with a reindeer, they will gather reindeer food to take home and engage with a Christmas sensory experience. They will then meet Father Christmas for a photo opportunity and a gift. The Trafford Centre specifies that they offer autism-friendly grotto experiences with less visitors, quieter music and trained staff. The events sounds like lots of fun for all the family!
