Make Your Mark 2020

Today we have been looking at the ‘Make your mark’ campaign where young people throughout Blackburn with Darwen are encouraged to have their say on a range of local and international issues.

Usually Lauren North from Young People’s Services comes in and facilitates a full session, but due to COVID, at the moment we are only able to do this in small groups. Along with HLTA Sharon, the you people in school looked at the things we thought were important.

Some of the things were child poverty, mental health, racial awareness and pollution .

We always encourage our pupils to have a voice and to thing about how they can do small things to have their say in the world.
