Over in the school for Autism, pupils had a bonfire WOW event to start the learning for the half term off with a bang! In the main hall the pods were set up with lots of bonfire and firework themed sensory trays to explore.
Pupils could then access the studio and experience a bonfire and firework display whilst eating chocolate apples.
In class A4 pupils have been reading a bonfire story, making comments with PECS and exploring the props from the story. They wrapped up warm and put on wellies to imagine the cold night around the fire.
They have made some firework sensory bottles by following instructions and done a Skittles Cathrine wheel experiment.
