World Mental Health Day 2020

Today we are celebrating World Mental Health Day 2020 - this actually falls on Saturday 10th October - and because it’s a Saturday, it means we can really relax and focus on our wellbeing and emotional health with our families!

This morning, A7 enjoyed a lovely yoga session for World Mental Health Day - What a great start to the day!

Class 5 have made a fantastic rainbow tent as their most recent class project - perfect for relaxation!

The children across school made foot print pictures to make banners around the theme of ‘don’t follow the footprints of others, make your own!’

Throughout the day we held a very exclusive 2 venue Art Exhibition - to share with each other art and craft work created since our return in September - in a safe, COVID secure manner.

Classes had access to an individual slot in one of our large halls, where they could view the items on display - the halls were then be aired, before the next class came to visit.

Below is a selection of photos from the activities and also from the exhibitions - everyone had a fantastic day, with the exhibitions and classes taking part in activities like dance, yoga and games to promote wellbeing - including staff relaxing during their lunch break, imagining a tropical escape!
