As we all settle back into school, children and staff are embarking on some new, exciting curriculum themes to promote and enhance learning and development.
In the school for Autism, A4 with teacher Amy at the helm are working on their theme - shipwrecked - and have been doing some fantastic activities including pirate treasure hunts for coins, having sensory sessions around the theme and exploring a shipwreck in the ‘ocean’ in our dinghy.
In the photos we can also see pupils enjoying developing play skills, playing turn taking games and visiting the library to choose books to share.
