Children in the SEND school have continued to explore objects and use their senses to experience lots of things related to the theme of Autumn.
In Class 6, with teacher Alison they have been imagining an Autumn forest today. The children have enjoyed feeling, holding and crunching twigs, confers, acorns and leaves - using both their hands and their feet!
They also did some switch work to listen to the sounds of the birds and tasted and smelled some delicious blackberry jam, from blackberries foraged from the hedgerow.
Finally they used real leaves and crayons to make some leaf prints.
