Return to School 2020 - Training Days

Staff have returned to school yesterday and today to prepare for the long awaited return to school of our fantastic children tomorrow.

Everyone is very excited about being able to have most of the children and staff back in school.

Unfortunately due to COVID not all of the Newfield Family can be together just yet, but we are all working hard to make sure that as well as the children in school, the children who cannot come into school will have the best learning experience we can deliver virtually at home. We have dedicated a teacher and a team of support staff to making sure that they are included and learning - more information about this to follow.

The school has been cleaned very thoroughly, classrooms set up, and staff have taken part in lots of training sessions so that they are ready to welcome the children into a safe, happy environment.

We know from speaking to families how much everyone wants to get back to school - so there will be lots of sleepless nights tonight as we get ready - it’s almost as exciting as Christmas!

In the photos you can see staff taking part in their training - maintaining a safe social distance and wearing Personal Protective Equipment - PPE. All this may seem strange at first, but it won’t stop us from sharing lots of fun, laughter and learning.

See you very soon for the start of another extraordinary Newfield year.
