Summer Activities 2020

Well, although the sun has gone this week and we’ve had lots of rain, it is still summer!

We’ve put onto our YouTube channel a couple of presentations about activities that you might want to try at home - A range of art and craft activities with the theme of summer, along with some simple recipes with visual instructions to support older children to work a bit more independently.

The small number of children in school have been doing summer art activities. They have made fluffy ice creams mixing shaving foam, pva glue & paint and made some sunshine mobiles. They have also made some fantastic, shiny fish!

One of our oldest students had a birthday this week, turning 19. He celebrated with family and sent in the photo with his Candy Crush birthday cake - looks like another fun birthday inspite of lockdown!

We hope you have a go at some crafts and we’d love to see the photos of what you make at home - Happy Summer, let’s hope the sun comes back soon!
