Mental Health Awareness Week 2020

We are thinking about kindness this week, for MHAW 2020. It’s a frightening time at the moment, with COVID, lockdown and no school - so even more important to do things to be kind to ourselves and each other.

This lovely online story - Everybody Worries - has been written by Jon Burgerman and uses language and visuals to reassure children who may be worried about what is happening in the world on lockdown.

Steven’s dad has sent in this lovely ‘Zoopals’ Pig Plate that Steven has made at home as a craft activity - he enjoys doing this and relaxing with parents at home.

Claire’s mum has sent in this photo of Claire ‘chilling at home’. She’s wearing a panda face mask as a pamper activity. It’s really important to take time to relax, which can be difficult at times.

Try to make time to be kind to yourself - you’ll feel better and have more energy and patience to help the people you care for!
