Newfield Climate Protest

S3 have been learning about climate change and Greta Thunberg as part of their theme about the environment this half term.

Today they decided to stage a protest like Greta to help spread the word of the importance of recycling and the effect it has on the environment.

They had made posters, banners and placards containing information about environmental issues!

The class marched around the school, shouting and drawing attention to the cause and then demonstrated peacefully in the atrium.
