Today class 6 had their fortnightly visit from Baxter out PAT dog, because this half term they are one of the lucky classes learning about looking after an animal.
The class were thinking about what he needs to be healthy and looked at his food and water.
They also discovered that Baxter needs cuddles and loves going for a walk. They each had a turn being responsible for holding his lead and taking him for a walk.
During his visits Baxter also spends time with TG1 and then goes to the school for Autism for an open session with pupils in their atrium.
He always has a busy morning and everyone in the Newfield family loves seeing him (and of course his escort Julie!) around and about.
See you soon Baxter!
