Pledge to Plant - EveryTreeCounts

The RRSA steering group at their meeting this week made posters to advertise that today we are planting a tree. We are doing this as part of the ‘Big Climate Fight Back’. The Woodland Trust are asking for 1 million people to plant a tree to help combat climate change – we have ‘pledged to plant’ to take part. Trees are essential for people, wildlife and the environment.

Our site staff dug a big hole, in between both buildings and pupils from the steering group have planted an apple tree and are really excited about it growing, giving us fresh air, beautiful leaves and lovely apples to eat!

RRSA CRC Article - Article 24: Children have the right to good quality health care and to clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment so that they will stay healthy. Rich countries should help poorer countries achieve this.
