Takeover Week - Day 5

On the final day of this week we have continued to have pupils doing some fantastic takeovers. Everyone has really got involved and our brilliant staff had enjoyed supporting pupils to takeover their roles. We’ve been delighted by how mature, helpful and sensible our children are and how interested they are in taking on adult jobs and responsibilities.

Terence was in the kitchen in the school for Autism and Kerry, who he took over, told us : I just wanted to say a massive thank you for Terence coming and taking over the Autism Kitchen. We had a lovely time making and decorating biscuits and next week we are going to put Terence’s chocolate cake on for pudding on Thursday - just as he has designed it.Thanks again, for an amazing morning Terence! You can see him working and the fabulous biscuit he gave to Jenny below!

Ethan in Admin! Ethan took over in the office with Smeena this morning, Sameena says: “Ethan had a really nice time in the main reception today, he smiled at all the visitors who came in, he answered a few telephone calls and was very clear on the phone! Ethan also stamped the post in on the front reception desk, and then we did lots of deliveries around the school, we even went in the lift to go to deliver some important letters to the pupil services team. Overall Ethan really enjoyed his time at the main office! Thank you for all you help Ethan!”

Well done to everyone for a fantastic week!
