Takeover Week - Day 2

Day 2 of Takeover week and lots of pupils were busy doing the adult jobs around school.

Today we had Billy in the admin team with Kloe for takeover week. Kloe says… He did a really good job. Billy answered the phone to Mathilde who asked us to go and empty the post boxes and give them to the relevant person. Billy helped me collect all the dinner money and gave this to Jen. We also had a lot of letters and parcels to deliver to different classrooms and Billy did this really well.

Deputy Head Suha!

Suha took over for deputy Jenny. She spent the lunch hour visiting every class in the main school to check on pupils, staff and activities on offer. She was generally happy with what she saw and encouraged staff to keep up the good work and not lose any children! In the afternoon Suha helped to chair an annual review meeting, discussing progress with a pupil, parent, teacher and social worker. She did an amazing job and enjoyed the coffee and biscuits.

Suha was very sensible and mature and really thought about how she could lead and support the other people in school without being too bossy.

Jenny was very impressed with Suha and is now slightly worried for her job!
