Exciting Enriching Curriculum

Here at Newfield we live to develop exciting new curriculum expériences for all of our learners.

This week we’ve been learning about electricity, having sensory experiences in the studio and developing our understanding of the wider world and caring for others with our therapy dog.

in our fantastic Autism school immersive studio they have been theming the sessions each week e.g. Halloween, Bonfire Night, & this week Children in Need. All the pupils have loved it.

Pupils put bandages on Pudsey friends., played with multi-coloured spots, painted Pudsey pictures and made Pudsey shapes in play dough.

In S3 pupils have been making circuits as part of their electricity topic.

and in TG2 the students are really loving Baxter and Julie’s visits where they are learning about caring for animals as part of their ASDAN qualification.

What a fantastic week of learning!
