Children in Need 2019

Today we joined the nation for one of our favourite fundraising events.

The theme for Children in Need fancy dress was spotty this year and everybody got involved and looked greatt, paying £1 to dress up

There were lots of activities happening at Newfield, we had:

  • An Art competition – all pupils created a piece of Pudsey artwork. The Head and three deputies picked four winners that are now the proud owners of yellow Pudsey bed socks!

  • A Cake Stall – A11 made Pudsey cakes, the kitchen made Pudsey cookies and staff and parents donated shop bought cakes for pupils to sell to staff, pupils and visitors in the Atrium.

  • Pudsey came to visit the pupils before lunch and everyone was delighted to see him.

  • The famous Newfield Pudsey pie was available for staff and pupils at lunch ( no bears were harmed making it don’t worry!).

  • A fun filled disco in the afternoon for all pupils where Lynx was the resident DJ.

We all had a brilliant day and have raised lots of money for Children in Need. A big thank you to everyone for supporting this special event.
