This morning we invited parents and carers into school to meet Rik, our new headteacher who joined the Newfield family at the start of September.
Parents and carers came along for a cuppa, some cake and a chat!
They had lots to ask Rik about his history and his plans for developing the school - so he had a good grilling!
They also shared their ideas with him and the deputies, so we came away with lots of actions and plans to continue to work collaboratively with our fantastic parents to ensure the best possible education and care for all of our children.
Rik really enjoyed meeting them and is always happy to welcome parents, carers and friends into school.
