Pupils in the School for Autism are taking turns to be the milk monitor.
This is an opportunity for pupils to use functional maths skills to complete jobs around the school.
The Teacch approach has been used to make the task visually clear so pupils can do their job independently.
Pupils are given labels showing how many milk to each class so they can count out the correct amount into the basket. Once complete the label is placed in the finished tray so the next class label can be added to the milk basket.
Here is Hafizur is doing a magnificent job and showing us how it’s done!
