Visitors from Kenya

This afternoon our visitors Fred and Gilbert from Kenya came to visit us again.

When they were planning their trip they were asked what they would like to do and one of their choices was to visit Newfield School again.

Fred and Gilbert are from our RRSA school link in Kenya. Over the years we have raised money for different resources to help their students.

When they came to visit this week some of our students gave them a tour of the new school, they were very impressed and asked our teachers lots of questions about how they worked with our students.

They also watched our students participating in wheel chair dancing and both Fred and Gilbert joined in. Then they listened to our choir singing and signing to songs.

Finishing off the afternoon, they shared refreshments with our students from the steering group.

Both Fred and Gilbert enjoyed their afternoon and our students were thrilled to see them.
