All of our children love swimming here at Newfield, whether it is going to the local pool in Blackburn or Darwen town centres, or having special sessions in our lovely hydro pool in school.
During sports week they have continued with their usual sessions, learning to swim, building confidence in the water or taking part in physical exercises in the pool setting. For some of our very special children being in the pool, supported by the water and our experienced staff is the only time that they are able to have any true freedom and independence of movement.
So, there has been lots of splashing and smiling going on this week, as always, having fun in the pool!
