Today it is the turn of our oldest pupils from the School for Autism to go on their Duke of Edinburgh adventure!
The first leg of D of E day one got underway with a morning hike and after this the group settled down for a much needed picnic lunch.
They have had a brilliant day so far, starting at Brungerly Park fossil trail and moving on to the sculpture park, where they did an orienteering route, searching for different artwork around the park.
After lunch we walked along the Ribble Way and to Waddow Hall.
There was more walking to follow and then a shopping trip to buy supplies for tonight’s tea!
It’s been lovely weather so far - keep your fingers crossed for us!
