Art Exhibition 2019

This morning we held our annual Art Exhibition and had lots of parents and visitors join us to celebrate the talents of our pupils.

The halls were beautifully decorated with lots of bright colours and showcased a variety of work that had helped pupils to achieve their Arts Award qualifications, from all ages across the school.

We had a campfire scene, beach and summer themed crafts, textile projects, Islamic art, work inspired by Mondrian, nature and flowers and topic work based on the KS1 theme ‘Flight’.

The atmosphere was lovely and accompanied by light piano jazz music.

Some of our RRSA group students helped top serve refreshments to our guests and we also had our new headteacher Rik join us to help judge the Art competition.

We all enjoyed looking at each other’s work and once again, the Art exhibition was a huge success.

Thank you to all the staff who support our pupils to reach their creative potential and to parents and visitors who continue to support our events.
