Pranks aside, on the first of April, Newfield pupils took part in our annual Easter sensory day.
Pupils were encouraged to access a range of sensory trays; enjoy hot cross bun making and attend a ‘stations of the cross’ studio session.
For our more adventurous pupils, there was an Easter Egg hunt and for those more green-fingered, an Easter Garden making session in our own sensory garden, enjoying the good weather. We were all amazed at how well the children understood the concept of the egg hunt - incredible how motivating chocolate can be!
We all had a lovely time and enjoyed the seasonal activities, getting ready for our Easter celebrations and holidays!
