World Book Day 2019

Today we are celebrating World Book Day - lots of pupils and staff have come to school dressed as their favourite story characters - they all look fantastic! We’ve got Alice in Wonderland, Cats in the hat, Cruella deVilles, lots of Hogwarts pupils, Superheroes, Princesses…all kinds of characters!

We have some guest readers coming into school to share sensory stories with classes, so we are really excited to see our special visitors and spend time with them. We have also got very exciting story sessions planned in our studios - where we can make fantasy come to life!

We are all spending the day thinking about reading and how much pleasure we get from stories and books.

This afternoon we are having 2 assemblies to share photos of what we have been doing today and during the whole week.
